Pulled Away

I leave you

Behind as

I take wing

And fly high

Soar through the

Sky spreading

My wings with

Abandon

Untethered

Freedom flight

Delights my

Weary heart

As my soul

Prepares to

Be refreshed

By small hands

That pull me

Toward joy filled

Wonder and

Strengthen me

With hope and

Clarity

For when I

Return home
