Clarity is the 9th and final section of "Shadows on the Carpet".  The journey has taken us from the darkness to the light. Today I am sharing the poem 'Clarity'.

Clarity

See the silence in your mind

Hear the colors of your heart

Be still and travel far

Search wide to find the

Treasure that is truth

As colored sands of time flow

Like rivers into eternity

And in this moment

Creation is our only reality

Purification

Flames engulf

Our hearts in

Blazing bright

Red intense

Crimson shades

Of scarlet

Desire

The fire

Burns and turns

Scar tissue

Into hot

Embers of

Pure love mixed

With passion

Shadows on the Carpet - Release

As I am back up and running, I would like to share a poem from the 8th section of Shadows on the Carpet - Release.  The poem is titled Released into Renewal and describes a catharsis releasing me from the past and starting me on a journey to healing.  As always, comments are welcome and appreciated.

Released into Renewal

My true essence

smashed against

rocks of your

indifference

Bits, pieces forged

Phoenix from

burnt ash fed

by aversion

Tainted future

- no longer

smoke  mirrored

as reflections

Of your disdain -

fades and this

fallacious

facade crumbles

Image of the

whore in the

viral meme

looped in your mind

Disintegrates

as the corpse

in your grave

decomposes

I burst out of

forced cocoon

s p r e a d i n g  my

FYI - Computer Down

Just a note to let everyone know that my computer has been down since just after my last post.  It is in for repair. I also bought a new computer but it is taking the geek squad a while to load the software. I hope to be up and running again sometime next week. 

On an up note, I have put the finishing touches (with some help from my parents and cousin) onto the translations into Czech that I have been working on (3 more poems).  Now to start translating a few more - expanding my Czech vocabulary in the process and stretching my brain.
