Shadows on the Carpet III

Now that Shadows II is done and should be available on Amazon as soon as I receive and ok the proof, I am working on the 3rd and last book of the trilogy - hitting rock bottom and the climb up. Tell me what you think of the cover.

T. Collection approved for printing

Finished adjusting the cover and uploaded the tweaked interior and cover for approval.  Approved for printing!  Now to proof read it online again and order a proof copy to see if the formatting needs to be adjusted more.
 

Autumn - Besieged, Bewildered and Bewitched

I have been busy so I hadn't had time to post for a while. Today I would like to share a poem about my favorite season - Autumn.

Besieged, Bewildered and Bewitched

I taste woodsy

Smells of autumn

Mixed within his

Sublime essence

Stand in the black

Light of his dance

Consummate lust

Driven tango

Touch the sound of

His breath breeze past

Hot open wounds

Taken hostage

See melodies

In eyes that pierce

Drench us in sweat

Leave me moon struck

Hear fine wine tease

My tongue - caress

Soft curves, valleys

Body and soul

Feel image

Time locked spirit

Love aura orbs

Arrest my heart

My tears are
Hidden in
The wet dew
Drop sparkle
Of the sun
Shining through
Loneliness

My sorrow
Cascades down
Into a
Deep green pool
Of more brand
New days spent
Without you

Sharing another poem from the T. Collection - A Retrospective - this poem starts the series even though it was not written first.  I wrote the poems as they came to me and then rearranged them to flow better.

CROSSROADS

There we were

two young ‘children’

making adult

decisions that

affected us

forever

You went off to war

I gave love for a lie

at crossroads

that would bring

us together

in the future

Two wounded

adults seeking

sanity

in each other

as new crossroads

tore us apart

Just paying

the price of

living life
